The entrance is situated right next to the house. The walk is easy and quite even and will take you to Lana di Sotto and the Golf Club of Brandis.
Close to nature, passing through fruid orchards, chestnut-trees and with an overwhelming view on Lana, this path takes you to the abby of Lanegg and the church of Santa Margherita before reaching the waterfall above the Golf Club.
Once arrived in Lana di Sotto, art-lovers amongst you should absolutely visit the late-gothic church, which is also one of the oldest of the territory.
The church was consecrated in 1492 and cherishes the wonderful "Schnatterpeck-Altar" one of the biggest and most precious of the Alps.

Our house is located in a wonderful, peaceful position, but at the same time just 150 m from the citycentre.
Right next to it, there is the church of Lana di Sotto, with its famous "Schnatterpeck-altar", one of the oldest in Europe, the "Museo della frutticoltura"/Orcharding museum, the Golf Club and the entrance to the already mentioned Lananer Waalweg.
Lana is located southern of Merano. Right there, where the the southern vine- and cultural landscape meets the mountains, where mild climate and fascinating nature characterises the panorama.
