Merano is also the home of the famous "Haflinger"-horses, a stocky, but really gentle horse. Different riding stables next to our house.
Golf
To play golf in Alto Adige is like.. wonderful, green meadows at the feet of breathtaking mountain peaks. In the area of Burgraviato there are even 2 at your disposal. One in Val Passiria and the other one in Lana!

Alta Via Meranese / Meraner Höhenweg
One of the most beautiful of the Alps. Meraner Höhenweg is a wonderful round trip which will lead around the Texelgroup in a constant height of about 1,400m and is marked with the trail number 24. Along the path there are several possibilities to beginn or interrupt the hike.
Natural park Texelgruppe
..on the trails of marmots and eagles.. in Alto Adige's greatest natural park.
Texelgroup is extending from Val Senales, passing over Val Passiria and the Alps. Covering an area of 33,430 hectar is the Alto Adiges biggest natural park, including Texelgroup as well as the adjacent Ötztaler Alps and a small part of Stubaier Alps.
